Yes, we are always looking for quality folks interested in our values. At this time we are not hiring exclusively for the bookstore, but are seeking professionals for the kitchen, and seasonal workers for the garden center.
Yes, we are in the process of putting together a thoughtfully curated used bookstore. Books may be purchased at either DFG or Bloom Community Cafe once it opens.
Provisions are at the heart of our business so customers may find local food sources to purchase whether the cafe is open or not. Additionally, we will offer specialty food provisions we source from further away, yet match our values. Think of our provisions as a little micro grocery store featuring nutrient dense quality ingredients.
We plan to be open for at least three days a week when DFG is open, the cafe is in "Bloom" when we can sustain having it open alongside the garden center.
DFG is a different business. Bloom Cafe is housed in the building and only open when in "Bloom" for limited hours each week.

Our coffee is thoughtfully source from Peace Coffee in the Twin Cities of MN. We think they are great, and we hope you do too! if only they could deliver coffee on a bike as they do in the metro . . .

We are working on having some GF options available, at the time we commit to using Sunrise Flour Mill products, which many GF sensitive folks find digestible, for those with celiacs unfortunately, we do not have the capacity yet to cater to specialty diets.
We plan to hold regular hours (closed January and July), and we will advertise if we are able to be open on a major holiday if our hours of operation falls on a holiday. As of now only open for limited hours due to the small nature of our establishment and staffing.
